University Interscholastic League: An Illustrated History of 100 Years of Service to Texas Schools

This coffee table book, written by former UIL academic and journalism director Bobby Hawthorne, outlines the UIL's humble beginnings and its rise through the grassroots of Texas to become the largest interschool organization of its kind in the world. From the early days of the county meets to the 21st century state championships, the UIL has stood firm in its belief that educational competition will provide the groundwork for the future of Texas.
